I’m uncertain what to write. Some are calling for fasting in light of the attack on the US capitol last week. For some reason, I thought of the story of Samuel.
“Speak, for your servant is listening.” (1 Sam. 3:10 NIV) And Samuel listened to God’s voice.

This week, let’s pray for our sisters who are facing holiday stress and seasonal depression.
“O come, O come, Emmanuel, and ransom captive Israel, that mourns in lonely exile here, until the Son of God appear.”
Are you hearing the same conversations about “women in ministry” on repeat? The public conversation by Christians about this topic has sped up in recent weeks.
Pray for our sisters who are on church staffs, working daily to serve their communities. Pray that they would be supported by family and friends.

This week, let’s pray for our sisters who are recovering from abuse. This includes physical, mental, and spiritual abuse and trauma. In particular, lift up our sisters at Hillsong Church in NY as they seek to trust leadership in finding a new pastor.
